6:30 and both teams are on the ice, the Troops in their hoime greens and the Storm in white. Half the team stretching while the other half skates circles and takes shots...Jake Smith starting in goal for NB as he has for every game of the playoffs.

Interesting to note is the Cogeco TV crew has a sound meter to measure how loud the crowd gets. It's courtesy of Dana Murphy of Nipissing University's Northern Centre for Research on Aging and Communication. i'll be checking with them during the intermissions.
Press box is packed with media, including a fair numbner fro0m Guelph. Both teams are in the hall waiting for the warmup session. this should be quite a game. Troops will try to weather the fist 10 minutes of an expected high octane Storm attact and not allow a first goal that will take the crowd out, which is exactly what Guelph will try to do

Tailgate party is in full swing...lots of people, live band, Robertson Cup and plenty of beer, hotdogs and sunshine. Mood in the rink is very upbeat....sellout of course as are games 4 and 6. Never seen this in all my many years in the Bay. Even the Cents didn't sell out three games in advance. The team has placed white towels on all the seats for fans to wave. Should be quite a sight.
