Grayson Ladd has found himself a USport home.

The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees men’s hockey program has announced that North Bay Battalion blueliner Grayson Ladd has committed for the 2022-23 season.

"Bolstering our defence," Ottawa U Men's Hockey stated on social media.

"We are thrilled to announce that Grayson Ladd will be joining the program for the 2022-23 season."

Selected in the first round (13th overall) by Kitchener in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, the Kent Bridge, Ont. native split his career between Kitchener, Windsor and North Bay recording 65 points (7-58-65) in 215 games played throughout his five-year OHL tenure.

In January 2022, Ladd came over in a big deal between the Battalion and the Spitfires as the Spits traded Grayson Ladd and Kyle McDonald in exchange for Joshua Currie and Draft picks..
