Brandon Coe continues on his torrid scoring pace netting one goal and adding three assists to lead the North Bay Battalion to a convincing 5-1 win over the Niagara IceDogs at the Meridian Centre in St Catharines on Saturday night.

The Battalion built up a 3-0 first period lead on goals by Avery Winslow, Coe and Owen Van Steensel.

Dakota Betts was the only IceDog to get one past a solid Dom Divencentiis in the middle frame. The Battalion netminder was named the games first star turning away 31 shots for the win.

Matvey Petrov added 3 assists in the win.

Ty Nelson and Mitchell Russell scored in the third period for the Troops.

Coe leads the OHL in scoring with 46 points which is six up on North Bay Native and Frontenacs forward Lucas Edmonds who has 40 points.

Matvey Petrov is close behind with 39 points.

The win moves the Battalion to 15-7-1-1 on the season.
