Bank robbers still on the lam

Anyone with dash cameras that may have captured the vehicle in that area is asked to contact Detective Constable Darcy Wall at the North Bay Police Service

Despite having some clear security photos and picture of the getaway truck, a pair of bank robbers continue to elude police today.

Yesterday, shortly before 10:40 a.m., a man and woman entered the C.I.B.C. Bank at 195 Main Street West and presented a teller with a note and demanded money.

Both then fled through the main front entrance with the cash. Police are not providing the amount stolen.

Police originally identified the getaway truck as a red Chev Silverado, but this morning changed the description to a 2004 – 2006 GMC Sierra 4X4.

The pair travelled from Ferguson to Chippewa Street, up Fisher and South on Highway 11. Anyone with dash cameras that may have captured the vehicle in that area is asked to contact Detective Constable Darcy Wall at the North Bay Police Service.

The man is described as:

  • 5’8” to 6 feet,
  • unshaven,
  • slim wearing a ball cap,
  • sunglasses and
  • a black coat with white on the chest and down the arms and then red on the inside of the forearms.

The woman is:

  • 5’5” to 5’8”,
  • slim wearing sunglasses,
  • a ball cap with “FAMOUS” written on it,
  • a camo style coat
  • and a black vest.
