Bad girls

The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged three girls following an incident Friday evening at a local school playground.

Police said that around 6:30, four young girls, ages 12 to 13, went to the playground and attacked a 10-year-old girl known to them. The victim was threatened, kicked and forced to the ground and made to bark like a dog.

Two 13-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl have been charged with assault and threatening. They are to appear in court June 8.
