On June 21, at approximately 8:30 a.m., North Bay OPP officers responded to a call of a backhoe theft at Highway 11, north of Highway 94, in Callander.
The backhoe was taken sometime between 6 p.m. on June 20 and 6:10 a.m. on June 21. The backhoe had been driven away from the scene.
The stolen backhoe is described as:
- 2009 yellow CATERPILLAR Backhoe 420E, valued at approximately $65,000.
The suspect is unknown at this time and the investigation is continuing.
Police are seeking public's assistance to help identify the suspect and locate the backhoe, similar to the one shown in this photo.
