OPP reports that on the morning of July 31 at 10:10 a.m., Nipissing West officers were called to a single All-Terrain Vehicle rollover on Highway 805, south of Emerald Lake, in Afton Township.
Police say that the ATV driver lost control and rolled over into a rock-cut.
The driver, Gilles Thibault, 73, from Markstay-Warren was pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team are processing the scene. The collision investigation is ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available say police.
