Assault with a phone

A 43-year-old North Bay woman has been charged following a disturbance Tuesday in a residence in the 100 block of Duke Street W.

Police were called to the residence after receiving an allegation that a female had struck a male.

When he tried to call police for assistance, the male was then struck on the head with the phone. The male was taken to hospital for minor medical aid. Brenda Servello, of Princess Street E, has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 15th.
