During the recent Federal Election campaign, the Capitol Centre played host to an open forum on behalf of Arts & Culture in North Bay and surrounding region, as part of the slate of ongoing pre-election “All Candidates” forums. This informal discussion allowed those of use working or playing in Arts, Heritage and Culture, an opportunity to ask questions, raise issues and be heard through the moderator of the event Dr. Rod Johnson. After the election, MP Anthony Rota contacted me to state he was very interested in continuing this discussion at the community level to ensure that issues and concerns raised by those in Arts and Culture would have a forum for discussion.

With this in mind on behalf of Anthony Rota, MP for Nipissing-Timiskaming, I would like to invite you to Part 2 of this forum, which will be held in the Capitol Centre on Monday, June 5th, upstairs in the Galaxy Circle Lounge from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Heritage Critic Mauril Belanger will be in attendance for this forum.

Please RSVP at 474-4747 by Thursday, June 1, 2006.
