At approximately 1:00am on September 8th, a vehicle was deliberately set on fire in a parking lot in the 2600 block of Trout Lake Road.
Police and Fire attended the scene to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
A witness described a suspect leaving the scene described as being a white male, 5’9” – 6” tall, 150 – 160 lbs., 20 – 30 yrs , skinny build, medium length light coloured hair, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, white bicycle helmet and riding a dark coloured mountain bike.
The suspect was last seen heading towards Trout Lake Road from the parking lot.
The damage to the vehicle was said to be approximately $3000.00 and damage was also sustained to two other vehicles which were parked nearby due to the extreme heat of the fire.
Investigation is continuing.
