Police are calling a fire in French River 'arson,' after a blaze on April 29, just after midnight.
Around 1 a.m. members from the French River Fire Department responded to the fire at the seasonal residence, which was unoccupied at the time. The fire was extinguished but caused extensive damage to the property.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was started by someone.
Officers from the Noëlville Detachment of the OPP, with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Fire Marshall, are investigating the arson on Turenne Road, French River
