Art on Main downtown artist's collective is pleased to announce the appointment of our new intern Ms. Renee Nesseth to the position of Artist’s Representative/Gallery Manager.

A North Bay native, Renee attended St. Joseph Scollard Hall Secondary School where she discovered her interest in art and went on to win visual arts awards all four years.

After graduation Renee moved to Montreal where the role of art and culture is omnipresent. She attended Concordia University earning her Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Studio Art and Art History, and began her art practice as a painter. In 2012, she came back to her hometown and immersed herself in the art community of North Bay and Sudbury.

Renee spent the year after graduation from university working full time while volunteering at the Art Gallery of Sudbury and the Discovery North Bay Museum.

This internship is made possible through the support of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund. During her time with Art on Main Renee will develop relationships with corporate buyers, improve our website and assist members in promoting their work.

We welcome Renee to the Art on Main family and look forward to working with her.
