There’s another active case of COVID-19 in the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit coverage area.

This one, someone 40-59 is in Nipissing District and was acquired through close contact of a case.

There are now two active cases and both are in Nipissing District and both are self-isolating.

There have been 44,800 tests administered.

Overall, there have been 43 cases with 40 cases resolved and there’s been one death.

Twenty-six resolved cases are in Nipissing and 15 are in Parry Sound.

Cases are those that have received a positive COVID-19 test result who have a permanent address within the Health Unit's district. It also includes students attending a post-secondary institution if they are residing in the Health Unit's district most of the time, at the time of diagnosis.
