This is kind of like that...people from northern Ontario helping fellow northerners be successful.

It's put on by a group called "Northern Ontario Angels" (NOA) and the event is called "North Bay PITCH 2017."

An angel investor, is an individual or group of individuals who provide investment capital to new or growing businesses and expect a percentage of ownership equity in return.

"It's an opportunity for people in business or interested in starting their own business, to see how experienced entrepreneurs make their pitches to potential angel investors in order to raise investment capital to grow their businesses to the next level," says a news release from the group.

Three successful entrepreneurs are pitching their companies to potential angel investors. The business community is welcome to attend this free event.
