A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 17 West and highway 575 in Verner sent a mother and daughter to the hospital this morning with non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of a pickup involved in the accident told BayToday that he was crossing 17 around 10 a.m. when he was struck by the car.
A witness says the car contained a female driver and her baby.
Traffic was reduced to a single lane while police investigated.
