An early morning accident on Lakeshore Drive has led emergency services to shut down a portion of the busy North Bay thoroughfare.
The single vehicle accident took place on Lakeshore Drive near Passmore Avenue.
"Traffic will be closed, and a temporary detour set up until we can finish processing the scene," Sgt. Paul Brewer, with the North Bay Police Service stated in an email to the media.
"We will advise when the road re-opens. Thank you for your patience."
A witness at the scene told BayToday that the vehicle appeared to damage a hydro pole; bringing wires down before the vehicle came rest onto its roof.
No word yet on any injuries.
"This the investigation is ongoing and will require more time," said Brewer Saturday afternoon.
Brewer says investigators are still involved in vehicle examination, checking for area cameras, and corroboration of information.
