The North Bay Men's Baseball League held a Food Bank All-Star Game on Sunday.

The event at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex was a "great success" according to organizers.

"We raised $645 and 395 Lbs of food for our local North Bay Food Bank, just in time for thanksgiving," stated organizer Jacob Brown.

Debbie Marson, executive director at the North Bay Food Bank, believes the donation comes at a great time.

"We are so grateful for the efforts and generosity of the North Bay Men's Baseball League in supporting the North Bay Food Bank," Marson told BayToday.

"In this crazy time of COVID-19 protocols, they reinvented an event to stay within guidelines, and still be so successful."

The game saw Team Red take home the 10-4 win.
