The Rapport Singers of North Bay will be presenting an afternoon concert of chart-topping songs from contemporary shows and artists.

Titled "A Gleeful Mashup", the performance will be held at the Gateway Pentecostal Church (147 Marshall Ave. East) at 2:30 pm on Sunday, February 28th.

The program will feature well known songs from musical productions such as Frozen, Grease, Glee, and Pitch Perfect, and from artists such as Adele, Cold Play and Train.

Rapport has always welcomed young musicians as guest artists at their concert presentations. Two North Bay youth performers, Cecelia Mogan and Nick Boegel, will be joining Rapport for this concert, as well as members of the Spack Vocal Studio Choir.

The 20-voice Rapport Singers choir was formed in 1995, and is currently under the artistic direction of Fiona Spack.

It is a group of singers dedicated to the highest standards of excellence in choral artistry and music education. The choir’s objective is to promote the public understanding and appreciation of choral music through presentations of a wide variety of choral repertoire.

The range is eclectic, from classical and popular to folk and jazz, drawn from the vast history of music and all regions around the globe. Rapport has collaborated with many performing and visual artists, both locally and nationally.

A silent auction will also be held in support of the Rapport Singers and it will feature a variety of interesting and hand-crafted items (payment by cash or cheque only).

Adult tickets are $15, student tickets are $10 and admission is free for those 12 years of age and under.
