Outgoing 22 Wing Honorary Colonel Phil Richardson receives a gift from Colonel Rick Pitre, Commanding Officer of 22 Wing, CFB North Bay.

It was a changing of the guard Monday as the Wing 22 and 51 Aerospace Control and Warning (Operational Training) Squadron installed two new honorary colonels.

Former North Bay Mayor Jack Burrows, Chair of the North Bay and area Foundation replaces outgoing 22 Wing Honorary Colonel Phil Richardson.

Burrows says he has big shoes to fill in more ways than one but hopes his long association with CFB North Bay coupled with his history in community service will help continue to build the legacy that Richardson has imparted.

North Bay businessman John Cutsey, President and CEO of FDM4 International Inc. takes on the role of Honorary Colonel for the 51 Aerospace Control and Warning (Operational Training) squadron.

Cutsey says the one focus of his role will be to make the community aware of the important work the Air Force does in the local community and abroad.
