'80s teen idol Corey Haim found dead in Los Angeles

Reports out of California this morning indicate that Toronto-born actor Corey Haim is dead. Further reports indicate that Haim was found dead early today at his Los Angeles apartment from an apparent accidental drug overdose.

Further reports indicate that Haim was found dead early today at his Los Angeles apartment from an apparent accidental drug overdose.

Haim's drug dependency struggles were well known and documented in a reality television show 'The Two Coreys' that reunited him with fellow child star Corey Feldman.

Haim, 38, shot to stardom in the 80's when he starred in films that include Lucas, Murphy's Romance, The Lost Boys, License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream.
