A search warrant served in Sturgeon Falls led police to seize over 8,000 methamphetamine pills early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 7 a.m., officers from the West Nipissing Police Service and OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a Nipissing Street home in Sturgeon Falls.
During the search, officers seized in excess of 8,000 methamphetamine pills along with other drug paraphernalia.
The street value of the seizure is valued at approximately $40,000.
One man was arrested at the residence and taken into custody. He is being held for bail.
Police are searching for a second adult man wanted by police in connection with this investigation.
The two Sturgeon Falls men are facing charges of
- Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking,
- Possession of a Controlled Substance and
- Fail to comply with conditions of a Recognizance.
Police did not release the names of the suspects.
