On November 16, North Bay OPP officers were called to a domestic dispute near Eldee, northeast of North Bay on Highway 63.
Officers arrested a man as a result of the complaint.
Further investigation led to the seizure of more than 20 firearms and over 2,000 rounds of ammunition.
The man was charged with:
- Pointing a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Uttering Threats
- Assault with a Weapon and
- Two counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order
The accused is being held pending a bail hearing and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay at a later date.
