13 new COVID cases over past three days

The number of active cases has also risen, from 38 Friday to 41 today.

The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit reports 13 new COVID cases over the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday time period. It does not report cases during the weekend.

The number of active cases has also risen, from 38 Friday to 41 today.

Of the most recent active cases, 20 are in the Nipissing District. It brings to 417 the total number since the pandemic began.

The local vaccination rate has now topped 54 per cent with 58,371 people getting at least one shot.

The Timiskaming Health Unit reports two active cases.

The Sudbury Health Unit reports just one new case today with 56 active cases.

The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit reports 141 new cases with 1,022 active cases. Two new deaths today bring the total number to 241.

Meanwhile, four employees at the Orillia Walmart on Murphy Road in west Orillia have tested positive for COVID-19.
