Editor's note: Mr. Cyopeck writes regarding the BayToday story Enbridge Gas wants to 'harmonize' its four Ontario rate zones.

To the editor:

Regarding natural gas prices for Northern Ontario and rate changes.

When one company buys another company WE as users of their product can only expect prices to rise in this day and age.

Our elected officials of Canada have let the rich take over and the small man suffers.

As a BELL CANADA user of 52 yrs, I have seen their prices rise on everything the small man uses 2-3 times a year and I am getting off Bell and using a smaller supplier.

I'm 79 yrs old and have to wonder in this day and age how going forward just how people can afford to live under these large companies and their rates. Canada has become a country for the rich and only for the rich as they do not want the poor OR middle class anymore. My view.
