The Colour Farm grows cut flowers, natural dyes and honey, serving the community and surrounding region of Callander and North Bay, Ontario. It's owned and operated by Becky and Guy Porlier. Becky has been working in the local food and fibre (clothing) movement for more than a decade, working on small-scale organic farms and co-founding the Upper Canada Fibreshed in 2015. Guy worked as a mechanical engineer for 10 years before going back to school for teachers college and starting an apiary. The Colour Farm started as a natural dye farm, and quickly evolved into providing fresh cut flowers as subscriptions, arrangements and for weddings, special events.
