A number of organizations have paid tribute to frontline workes at the North Bay Regional Health Centre during the COVID-19 crisis with various groups parading and carrying signs in respect for their service.
In late April, North Bay Hydro got involved as they said "Thank you" via a large sign hanging high from the arm of one of their bucket trucks located in the parking lot at the local hospital.
Today, North Bay Hydro continued with the trend as at 12:30 p.m. they unveiled a giant sign in front of Parker's Independent Grocer in North Bay with a giant sign reading, "To all grocery store workers, thank you!" which was hung from the arm of a bucket truck much like it was done at the hospital.
The sign was set up for the rest of the afternoon in front of the grocery store.
"There are so many local workers, volunteers, and contributors that have allowed us to move forward in such a difficult time," stated Neil Russell, communications officer for North Bay Hydro via social media.
"From grocery stores to pharmacies, gas stations and so many more, our quality of life is manageable because of each and every one of them."
