The WKP Kennedy Gallery is preparing for two fall exhibitions that will open this month: our International Postcard Project exhibit, as well as our French Emerging Artists exhibit.

Our International Postcard Project exhibition will feature mail art sent into us from all over the world, from local North Bay to places like Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, and more. The theme of the open call was what home means to the artist, whether socially, culturally or creatively. The exhibition will open on September 12th and close November 23rd. Want to see your piece featured on our online portion of the exhibition? Follow us @postcardproject_exhibition on Instagram and see everything from installation to opening!

Our French Emerging Artists exhibition features two local francophone artists, Alex Rondeau, and Anyse Ducharme. The show, titled fonction et faillite, will feature individually and collaboratively created pieces by Rondeau and Ducharme and will include photographs, soundgraphs, sculptures, recorded sounds, and installations. The exhibition will open on September 27th and will close November 2nd.

We invite the public to the opening reception for both exhibitions on September 27th (7:00 PM - 9:30 PM), which coincides with the Downtown Gallery Hop. If you're looking for some fun events to transition you into fall, then come check out the WKP Kennedy Gallery!
