This week, Second Saturday Stories continues its run of Skeleton Unburdened. Today's feature is Chapter Three of A noir thriller set in 1920 that follows a Private Eye through the nightmarish landscape of his memories and the dark underworld of post-War North Bay. 

Percy Slate is a haunted man. Guilt over his dead wife plagues him, and he finds himself holed up in his old office waiting out a group of determined cops led by his ex-brother-in-law Harry Clemens. Harry has threatened Slate with a jail cell if he doesn't meet him at a train that evening, but the deadline is coming fast.
