Previously in Second Saturday Stories the crime thriller Bullet Drop debuted.

Readers were introduced to a narrator going through police cadet training with the ultimate goal of going undercover and infiltrating the criminal element of his city. He gets the opportunity to flex his talent when he’s invited to a mob-run card game at a local restaurant, but soon finds out it takes more than a good poker face to avoid busting out. When he loses at that card table, he loses big.
