BayToday, in partnership with the North Bay Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Chance

It’s said that black cats are a sign of bad luck and in Chance’s case, it just may be true.

At just two years of age, Chase has already gotten herself in a bit of trouble. She came to the Humane Society as a stray with an arm and shoulder injury as her collar was caught and fused to her fur.

Luckily, with some love and care, Chance bounced back and is now happy, mobile and active!

Chance is the perfect companion for somebody looking to give love to a very worthy cat. She’s not afraid of making her presence known with an occasional ‘hello’ but is otherwise a very friendly, social and loving cat, good for homes and apartments with small families.

To meet Chance, call the Humane Society at 705-474-1251 or drop in to 2060 Main Street West.
