Parking Volunteers are needed for Sept 23, 24 and 25
This year, all service/social clubs in the Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Blue Mountains and surrounding areas are invited to work together to assist in providing GNE guests with access to the free parking onsite. Volunteers will show guests where spots are located and how to access the parking lot shuttles to get to the GNE gates. Anyone volunteering will be provided with a safety vest and flashlight to use while working, and can enjoy free access to the GNE.
This is an opportunity for Service Clubs and Social Groups to raise awareness of their presence in the community, and to showcase their spirit of appreciation and support for all and for the GNE specifically. Volunteers are encouraged to wear organizational insignia and can bring signage or banners if desired.
Students needing volunteer hours can get the required certifications completed. Ideally the minimum volunteer age is 18 years old although volunteers age 14 – 17 can be matched with older volunteers.
The GNE has graciously offered a stipend as a thank you for assisting with parking, and the plan is to use funds to put on a local Service and Social Club Exhibition. All organizations will be invited to participate in this new community information event.
Please invite your members and their friends and family members to sign up for this community effort. Come out and be part of this event, and enjoy helping your community continue this great exhibition.

Please feel free to pass this along to your family, friends or co-workers who may be interested in helping the community support the GNE. All are welcome!
