How to Invest in Real Estate as a Student

Don't pay your landlords mortgage! Set yourself up for success. Real estate investing is a great way to secure housing for yourself once you graduate and to ensure you don't have any issues with a landlord or negative experiences as a tenant.

The first step is getting financing, but there are lots of ways to get your foot in the door. Once you have a property, you can continue to rent it out and use the equity generated to buy yourself a family home after you graduate, or even use the funds to simply pay off your student loans.

Fun fact: Dave bought his first property during his second year of University, and didn't even live there! He rented it out to people other than his friends because he didn't want to collect money from his friends.
