Hand Lining

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for safety, quality and workmanship within their area. This is the process of manually laying and stitching ply's of rubber over steel in critical areas to prolong wear, vibration and electrical deterioration.

Skill and Abilities:

• Experience in carpentry, dry walling or hand lining
• Must be an organized self-starter with a demonstrated ability to be responsible for   quality of work
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Inspect metals for fit, form and function
• Prepare metals for rubber application
• Read blue prints and understand requirements for each metal
• Fill build reports out accurately for traceability
• Perform prestart audits, quality audits, inspection checks, etc....
• Proper handling of hazardous materials
• Ply rubber according to router / drawing
• Ensure housekeeping and safe working practices
• Organizing the work center for safe operation including the proper use of PPE
• Work within the company’s goals and objectives of safety, quality, cost and delivery.
