THEFT Recently, while a female victim was swimming at Kinsmen Beach, located at the waterfront in North Bay, unknown persons stole her wallet that was back on the beach unattended. Lost was a variety of the victims I.D.

TAXI ROBBERY ARREST On the 17th of August 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m.

WEEKEND Police were busy over the past weekend responding to 246 calls for service.

Robbery On 16th Aug at 2:50 a.m. a taxi picked up a man on the 100 block of Main St W who wanted to go to Clarence St.

Weapons On the 14th Aug at 10:15a.m. Police responded to a complaint of a man at a pharmacy on the 1200 block of Algonquin Ave with bear spray and a bayonet. The man had left the area.

Domestic Abuse An overnight complaint of criminal harassment in a domestic situation has resulted in the arrest of a 27 year old North Bay man.

Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 227 calls for service that resulted in 10 arrests. Offences included domestic assaults, assaults, threatening, mischief, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

Loose Snake On Thurs Aug 8th at 11:00 p.m. North Bay Police responded to a complaint of a large snake loose on the 200 block of Hutchison St. The officers attended, located a 4ft long python on a sidewalk near an apartment complex.

Motor Vehicle Collision On the 5th Aug at 4:52 p.m. a 24 yr old man on a motorcycle travelling northbound on the north end of Terrace Rd could not negotiate a curve in the road, lost control and crashed.

Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 243 calls for service that resulted in 18 arrests.
