City Police Beat

Weekend Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 209 calls for service that resulted in 11 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assaults, theft. Warrants, breach of court orders, and public intoxication.

THEFT UNDER Sometime around midnight on the 25th of September 2013, someone entered a vehicle parked at a Johnson Road residence in the City of North Bay and took the owner’s disabled parking permit. Constable Greg Randall is investigating.

Domestic Assaults A domestic situation at 12:50 a.m. on the 26th Sept resulted in the arrest of both participants, a 19 year old female and a 23 year old male.

Break and Enter Overnight on the 23rd and 24th Sept a restaurant in the 400 block of Lakeshore Dr was entered by smashing the glass in the rear entrance and bottles of alcohol taken. Cst Geoff Whittle is investigating.

Street Crime At 5:38p.m. on the 23rd Sept a Street Crime investigation resulted in a vehicle being stopped on Ann St and the driver arrested. A subsequent search of his person located .

Break, Enter and Theft During the morning hours of the 19th of September 2013, someone entered an address located in the 500 clock of Aberdeen Avenue in the City of North Bay. Once inside a variety of coins, amounting to approximately $500.

Break and Enter On the evening of the 18th of September 2013, the North Bay Police Service was called to attend the Moe Zee On Inn in North Bay regarding a break and enter in progress to one of the motel rooms.

Break & Enter Update On September 17th, 2013, at approximately 10:52pm, officers with the North Bay Police Service arrested a male for a break and enter incident which had occurred earlier in the day at a business on Wasi Road in Callander.

Break & Enter On September 17th at approximately 2:52am, an unknown male and female broke into a business on Wasi Road by breaking a window. It is alleged that the suspects then stole various items from within the business.
