YOUTH CHOKED IN SCHOOL On the Nov. 17 during school hours two young boys were in the library of the school when one of them approached the other from behind and applied a choke hold on him.

On the Nov. 17 during school hours two young boys were in the library of the school when one of them approached the other from behind and applied a choke hold on him.
The victim passed out and was released when a teacher
came upon them.

A 13 year old boy was charged with Assault Bodily Harm by
Cst. Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police Service School Liaison Unit, and is to appear in court on the 17th of Dec.




VEHICLE STOLEN, THEN HOME BROKEN INTO

On Nov. 18 while a delivery person was in a residence in the 600 block of Oak St. E., his pick up truck, that had been left running, was stolen. The vehicle was found a short time later in a parking lot at Lansdowne Av. and Algonquin Av., minus the keys and the ownership and
insurance papers.

When the owner returned home he discovered that his residence in the 1200 block of Algonquin Avenue had been entered using the missing keys. Cash and a man's gold 6 piece puzzle ring were stolen.


BREAK AND ENTER

Overnight on the 17th of Nov. thieves forced their way into a main floor restaurant in the ONR Building in the 600 block of Oak St. E. They had forced the door lock and then stole a cashbox with a small amount of cash.
