The North Bay Police Service is currently investigating a report of a theft that took place at a retail store on McKeown Avenue and is seeking the public’s assistance.

On Saturday, Apr. 29, 2017, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a woman entered a sports store on the 800 block of McKeown Avenue, spoke to a salesperson in the shoe department and requested two pairs of men’s basketball shoes. She then went to another section of the store where she removed the shoes from their boxes and placed them in her shoulder bag before leaving the store without paying for them. She left the empty boxes tucked under a store display.

The shoes are described as:
Men’s Nike Zoom high top basketball shoes, size 11, retail value $119.99
Men’s Nike Prime Hype DF-2 high top basketball shoes, size 11, retail value $91.99

The woman is described as:
Caucasian;
in her 20s;
with long brown hair tied up in a loose bun atop her head;
wearing ripped blues jeans, white summer shoes with no socks, black long sleeved light jacket or sweater over a white blouse.
