NUMEROUS CHARGES On Dec. 23 at approximately 9:30 PM a man attended the workplace of a woman who was known to him. He commenced an argument with her, struck her and at one point held a knife to her.

On Dec. 23 at approximately 9:30 PM a man attended the workplace of a woman who was known to him. He commenced an argument with her, struck her and at one point held a knife to her. He then left and attended her residence and broke in. Cst. Ken Rice and Jody deHaas of the North Bay Police Service attended the residence and arrested the male.
Terry DUPUIS, 41, of No Fixed Address is charged with assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of breach of probation, unlawfully in a dwelling house, mischief and possession of stolen property. He remains in
custody awaiting a court appearance on Dec. 24.

BREAK AND ENTERS


While a homeowner was away at work on Dec. 23 thieves forced their way into the home in the 800 block of Clarence Street and stole cash as well as $70 in rolled coins, credit cards, and a JVC VCR.

Overnight Dec. 23 thieves forced their way into R&R Watch and Clock Repair on Main St. W. and then disabled the alarm system. They stole cash and a list of watches as follows:
138 Rodanias; five Fioris, and three Roberto Cardicis for a total value of over $12,000.
Investigators are seeking a possible suspect described as male white, thin build, 6', dirty blond short spiked hair, scruffy face and was wearing a cream coloured winter coat.

Also overnight on Dec. 23 thieves smashed a front door window at Phil's Lakeshore Pharmacy, on Lakeshore Drive. They then disabled the alarm and stole cash and Diazapam and Tylenol. There was substantial damage to the
door and the alarm system.
