The following is a news release from North Bay Police:

Male arrested for break and enter into local business

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m. members of the North Bay Police Service located and arrested:

Aaron Scott Wilson, aged 38 years, of North Bay
Break and enter
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Drive while under suspension- Highway Traffic Act of Ontario

The accused had a warrant for his arrest for break and enter that occurred on July 26, 2017 at Auntie Jane’s restaurant, located at 725 Main Street East.

The accused was held for a bail hearing on Aug. 30, 2017.

Two Edmonton males charged with fraud

On August 29, 2017 members of North Bay Police Service travelled to Edmonton and arrested and charged

Oladeji Ademola, aged 26, of Edmonton
Fraud over $5,000
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Olumide Richard Adeyemo, aged 25, of Edmonton
Fraud over $5,000
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

In March 2017 a North Bay women began communicating with a male on a dating website. The male befriended the women and asked for her assistance in money transfers as he was out of the country. The women was defrauded approximately $32,000.  

Both accused males were held for a bail hearing scheduled for Aug. 30, 2017.

North Bay Police Service are reminding the public not to give out personal banking information.

Two charged after police execute warrant at residence

On Aug. 29, 2017 member of the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit and the North Bay Police Emergency Response team executed a search warrant on a Paul Street residence. As a result:

Narcisse Aldege Rivet, aged 41, of North Bay was charged with
1 count possession of a substance for purpose of trafficking
2 counts possession of a controlled substance
1 count possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
4 counts breach of recognizance of bail

Rachelle Evelynn Hurtubise, aged 25, of North Bay was charged with
1 count possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
2 counts possession of a controlled substance
1 count possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
2 counts breach of undertaking

As a result of the warrant police recovered drugs, money, and five knives. Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing on Aug. 30, 2017.
