ROBBERY On Oct. 19 at approximately 2:30 AM a man attended another man’s residence. This man was known to him. An argument ensued and the visitor began assaulting the victim with his hands and feet.

On Oct. 19 at approximately 2:30 AM a man attended another man’s residence. This man was known to him. An argument ensued and the visitor began assaulting the victim with his hands and feet. The visitor then took money and cigarettes from his victim and left the home shortly after.

The North Bay Police Service was called and a search was commenced for the man. On Oct. 29 during the morning, this man turned himself in at the North Bay Police station.

Patrick Depotier 19 years old of Lee Av. is charged with robbery and breach of probation. He remained in custody awaiting a bail hearing.


CAR THEFT SOLVED WITH DNA
On Jan. 14 of this year a vehicle was stolen from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in North Bay. The investigating officer took DNA evidence and submitted it to the Forensic Science Unit in Toronto. On the 21st of Oct. of this year Cst. Steve Trahan of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male person in relation to this crime.
Tyler Beilby, 23, of 2nd Av. E., is charged with possession of stolen property over $5000. He is to attend court on Dec. 2.

BREAK AND ENTER
Between Oct. 15 and 20, someone forced a side garage door to the Mattawa Conservation Authority on Main St. E. It is unknown if anything was taken at the time of report.
