SEXUAL INTERFERENCE On Monday shortly after 3:00 p.m. Detective Cst. Helen Kent of the North Bay Police Service arrested a 42 year old North Bay man in relation to sexual touching of two female children under the age of 10.

On Monday shortly after 3:00 p.m. Detective Cst. Helen Kent of the North Bay Police Service arrested a 42 year old North Bay man in relation to sexual touching of two female children under the age of 10. The occurrences happened between Sept 2000 and Sept. 2003. The accused will appear in court later today charged with two counts of sexual interference.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY
On Oct. 4th after 11:00 p.m. a 62 year old woman was walking on Johnston Road in North Bay when she was approached from behind by two males youths and was pushed to the ground. The assailants grabbed her and pulled her a short distance off the road to the tall grass. One of the youths placed his foot on the side of her face and held her head down while the second male rifled through her pockets. A vehicle playing loud music drove by southbound on Johnston Road and the assailants fled down the path towards the railway tracks. The victim sustained bruising and scrapes to her face and body. Police are looking for a male in his teens, approx. 6 feet tall, wearing a dark hooded fleece sweatshirt and white shoes, and a second male in his teens, approx. 5 feet tall, wearing a dark hooded fleece sweatshirt and dirty white running shoes.
