North Bay Police Service’s traffic enforcement officer, working together with a patrol officer, conducted a targeted traffic enforcement on Airport Road, where the speed limit is 60 km/hour.

Speeding tickets issued following yesterday’s targeted traffic enforcement

From 10 a.m. to noon yesterday (Monday, Nov. 7, 2016), the North Bay Police Service’s traffic enforcement officer, working together with a patrol officer, conducted a targeted traffic enforcement on Airport Road, where the speed limit is 60 km/hour.

Results are as follows:
11 drivers were issued speeding tickets;
the highest speed, from a driver who was also charged for driving with a suspended licence, registered at 104 km/hour;
one driver was issued a 72-hour warning for a documentation infraction. This driver has 72 hours to demonstrate to police that the issue has been corrected, or otherwise face paying the ticket.
