Update: Missing person located
The North Bay Police Service thanks the public and the media for their assistance with our search for Michelle Pellerin-Laplante. She was located on Hwy 17 West and is safe. Paramedics have transported her to hospital as a precautionary measure.
We thank the Ontario Provincial Police and the Sûreté du Québec for their assistance in this investigation.
Missing person
North Bay Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
Michelle Pellerin-Laplante is described as:
a 66-year-old Caucasian female;
5’-5” tall; 230 lbs;
Brown/grey shoulder length hair;
Suffers from Alzheimer’s;
Last seen on Monday, May 16 on Lakeshore Drive (1000 block)
Possibly wearing a green sweater-type jacket with a moose design on the back, or dressed all in black carrying a green coat.
Possibly wearing glasses
We ask residents and business owners in the south end of the West Ferris area to check their property for possible sightings. Anyone with information that may assist police with this investigation is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555.
