break and enter, assault

The following are news releases issued by the North Bay Police Service:

On Feb. 4 2018, North Bay Police attended a residence in North Bay after receiving information that a male victim had been stabbed and was being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

It is alleged that the male victim and the female accused got into a verbal argument which the male tried to end by going to his room. The female came into his room and stabbed him in the right side with a steak knife, puncturing his lung.

Police arrested the female and kept her in custody for bail court.

A 25-year-old female is charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

On Feb. 3 2018, in the early hours, two young offenders, age 15 and 17 year olds, were observed going through vehicles in the Mountainview Drive area and North Bay Police were contacted.

It was discovered that a convenience store was also broken into by smashing the glass door.

Both young offenders were arrested and held for a bail hearing charged with trespass by night and break and enter.
