North Bay police, fire and ambulance were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a van on Lakeshore Drive at Marshall Avenue following multiple calls to 911

Break and enter investigations

North Bay Police Service police officers and forensic identification officers are currently investigating a number of reports of break-ins, attempt break-ins and damage to businesses which have occurred over the past two weeks.

The businesses are located on:
Cassells Street;
Algonquin Avenue;
Worthington Street East;
Main Street East; and
Main Street West.

In some cases there were no thefts, in other cases cash registers and in-store items were displaced, and in other cases goods were stolen.

Motor vehicle collision on Lakeshore at Marshall

North Bay police, fire and ambulance were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a van on Lakeshore Drive at Marshall Avenue following multiple calls to 911 at 5:17 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016. Lakeshore Drive was temporarily closed to traffic as a result of the North Bay Police Service’s investigation, which included the assistance of an Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigator.

The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. Both vehicles required towing.

The investigation continues.
