Yesterday evening, following an investigation into a 9-1-1 call to police reporting a domestic assault, North Bay Police arrested and charged a 24-year-old North Bay woman

Yesterday evening, following an investigation into a 9-1-1 call to police reporting a domestic assault, North Bay Police arrested and charged:

A 24-year-old North Bay woman with:
Two counts of assault with a weapon;
One count of assault; and
Two counts of breach of probation.

It is alleged that on Feb. 15, 2017, a verbal dispute between the accused and her partner in her North Bay residence turned violent when she threw a bottle at him. It is also alleged that on Mar. 1, 2017, following another argument between the two in the same residence, the accused burned the victim’s skin with a lit cigarette. Neither incident was reported to police at the time. On Mar. 22, 2017, a third dispute between the couple in the same residence turned violent when the accused allegedly punched the victim. Reported injuries caused as a result of these incidents were minor.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
