Man accused of break and enter and theft

Yesterday, following a 9-1-1 call to police reporting a break-in and theft, North Bay Police arrested a North Bay man.

Joshua Gary James Wilkinson, age 26, of North Bay was charged with:
One count of break and enter and theft.

It is alleged that on Wednesday Apr. 12, 2017, during noon hour, the accused entered a residence north of Trout Lake Road, unannounced and without the resident’s permission. The resident, who does not know the accused and was home at the time, witnessed the accused leave the premises with her laptop and bag. She immediately called 9-1-1. North Bay Police patrol officers, who were immediately dispatched, located the suspect on foot, with the laptop and bag, on the tracks behind Perut Place shortly thereafter.

The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for May 22, 2017.
