Over $25,000 in drugs seized after police raid near Englehart

OPP say a raid north of Englehart on May 10 netted over $25,000 in illegal drugs.

Officers from the North East Region OPP Community Street Crime Unit, along with Temiskaming Detachment OPP executed a search warrant at a house on Rogers Road in Pacaud Township,

Officers found drug paraphernalia, a non-restricted firearm, and seized a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, Percocet and morphine, with an estimated street value of over $25,000. 

Samuel Woolings, 30, of Pacaud Township is charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid
  • Failure to comply with a probation order

Woolings was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 28 in Temiskaming Shores.
