This afternoon, police spokesman David Woolley told BayToday, "At this time no arrests have been made in relation to the reported September 15 assault that occurred in the area of Lake Heights Road and Madelena Drive."

Last Thursday two schools in the area, E.W. Norman Public and Holy Cross Catholic Elementary were placed in a hold and secure situation and remained that way for about 90 minutes as police searched the area. The park's play structure was taped off.

Police say the attacker struck a victim with a blunt object.

A resident of the area says it was a rock. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
