Back to school traffic campaign results

The back to school traffic enforcement campaign took place from Sept. 5 to Sept. 15, 2017, and resulted with 10 motorist charged with speeding in a school zone in North Bay and 6 motorist charged for speeding in a school zone in Callander.

The North Bay Police also received two complaints of motorist failing to stop for a school bus.

This concludes the campaign, however the North Bay Police will continue to monitor the school zones through the school year to ensure the safety of school children.
